Friend Kumon Plaza has been schooling me in the fruitful sounds of Canada’s great frontier.  A recent lesson took us through the Maritimes, revealing ‘sophisticated slacker rock’ in pristine form. Halifax’s Cousins grind down bluesy howl and greasy riff to an intoxicating dust. Breath at will.
